Sanday Community Craft Hub
The Craft Hub is located on Sanday, one of the North Isles in Orkney. We currently showcase handmade art and crafts from over Seventy island residents and every product is completely hand-made by our talented Island locals.
We currently stock a varied range of knitwear, yarns, pottery, art, photography, glasswork, jewellery, woodwork, leatherwork, and much more.
The money from items being sold goes directly to the craftsperson who made the item.
We also have a tea room which offers homemade food, cake and refreshments. As well as holding weekly craft groups such as Glass fusion/Stained Glass and a more varied Craft Night, we also offer a wide variety of workshops throughout the year.
Ayre’s Rock Hostel
Paul and Julie welcome you to excellent four star Hostel facilities. Ayre’s Rock a small quiet friendly hostel & campsite set on the beach front on the isle of Sanday an Orkney outer island. The hostel and campsite are Pet friendly and are ideal for Family holidays and solo traveller set in a grassed courtyard alongside the converted mill and stables
Marston Cabins
Two beautifully furnished log cabins accommodating up to four adults in each and the lager accommodating up to four adults, plus two children. Not only are these cabins located centrally within the island and walking distance to one of the grocery stores, they offer stunning panoramic views across fields to the sea, whilst pampering yourselves to a private hot tub and BBQ area. Be it a romantic getaway, weekend exploring, or a celebration party, these cabins provide five star luxury.
